THE FOUNDATION AWARD

About The Foundation Awards

The Lawman Lynch Foundation, in our bid to continuously motivate and inspire; honors individuals and organizations for their work in specific fields with our FOUNDATION AWARD. Currently, THE FOUNDATION AWARD features five categories (listed below).

(1) CHILD, YOUTH AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Awarded to an individual or organization contributing tremendously to child, youth and community development. The 2018 recipients of THE FOUNDATION AWARD in this category are MS. KARLENE LARGIE and Ms. Monique Porter.

(2) ARTS AND CULTURE

Awarded to an individual or organization contributing tremendously to ARTS AND CULTURE. This individual or organization, also uses his/her/its talent and/or resources, to aid the development of the marginalized.

(3) ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Awarded to an individual from the Caribbean or African Diaspora who has started a promising organization (for profit or nonprofit) within the last 5 years. This individual must be under 30 years old.

(4) ACADEMICS

Awarded to a College and/or High School Student who displays exemplary academic achievements. This Award features a Scholarship Grant to assist with tuition and/or books.

(5) SPORTS

Awarded to an individual who excels in a particular sport at the High School or College level. Award recipient receives a Scholarship Grant to assist with tuition and/or books.
